Nugget of Wisdom # 121
Hope is anticipating a bright outcome, because you know some unseen good out there already exists. It nourishes heart and mind to keep you going. As you weather the storms of life, it serves as a beacon in darkness. Life is easier, because you realize that you can always surmount hurdles to reach the silver lining beyond the dark cloud. Therefore, to give up all hope means to give up on life entirely.

You may live with so many dreams, but see you have not accomplished much. Maybe your dreams are not so well-defined. Let it be clear to you what you want and how to get it. You will sometimes fail. Get up, keep moving, and come up with even a better plan. Never let setbacks dishearten you. Know how to deal with them, instead. Stop running away from the harsh reality, and start chasing your dreams.
Nugget of Wisdom # 123
Trusting in what you can do gives you strength to drive forward and up. Set goals. They are the driving force that will fuel or energize you. Forever free yourself from the rut of negative thinking, your biggest roadblock to success. They attract negative results that in turn promote negative thinking – a most vicious cycle! If you live in harmony with yourself, you are bound to fulfill your destiny.
Nugget of Wisdom # 124
Never be offended when you receive criticisms, be they well-meaning or not. Be grateful, instead, to them – friends and enemies, alike – who criticize you. Why be offended, if these criticisms are true? They are truths about you, which others see that you do not. Welcome them as opportunities for reaching your fullest potentials. And why be offended, if they are not true? They are not true, anyway.
Nugget of Wisdom # 125
Let go of the old hurts that have remained inside you for a long time now. These hurts are not holding you; YOU are holding these hurts. How can you let go, if you are holding? When you practice forgiveness, you release the hold, and let go of hurt. Then, you begin to experience the fullness of peace and serenity inside. The lightness you feel uplifts and energizes you to move forward in positive ways.

Through the power of self-talk, you can build yourself up with positive encouragements. You can shield yourself from any negativity aimed at you with a voice of self-acceptance. What you say to yourself affects you. It can cause you to be rich or poor, loved or unloved, happy or unhappy, attractive or unattractive, powerful or weak. If you choose your words with care, self-talk can make you master of yourself.

Yours are true freedom and happiness to enjoy when you can stand on your own two feet. Make your way through life without “needing” another person. Decide how to live without undue influence of another. For this, be willing to take full responsibility for your life. You will hold no one answerable for anything that happens to you but you alone. Be your own true person, and you will reap great rewards.

To have enough energy to fulfill your life mission, appreciate the importance of rest in recharging your body and rejuvenating your spirit. Make time for it by keeping work, play, and rest in healthy balance. Put some minor responsibilities and fun activities aside in favor of some quality rest time. The benefits of a balanced life are worth the sacrifices of forgoing some activities you love to do.
Nugget of Wisdom # 129
Life is too short waste it on anything short of fun and enjoyment. Infuse fun in everything you do. Transform difficulties into enjoyable activities, problems into delightfully exciting challenges. If you see times are really tough, simply find relief in the joy of laughter. Each day, relish every small opportunity for fun and enjoyment. Know that it can be done. All it takes is good mental attitude.

You owe it to others to be honest about your feelings, be they positive or negative, regardless of circumstances. As you open your heart, you either strengthen bond or ruin relationship. Saying what you mean and meaning what you say without wounding another creates trust, understanding, and harmony. Focus on sincerity when expressing feelings, but find the best way to describe negative ones to avoid hurtful reactions.

Expand your love horizon by adding new individuals to your present circle of friends. By loving friends, you lose yourself and find your happiness. Make an effort in reaching out and making friends with those you are unacquainted with. Realize you both have potentials of enriching each other’s life in a substantial way. The more friends you have, the more encompassing your range for radiating love.

Each day of your life presents opportunities for achieving mini-goals that form part of an overall life goal. These goals make up your life purpose, your reason for living. Be confident that you can achieve them, if you only set your mind to it. It matters not whether your achievements are big or small. Waste not your life by letting it pass you by without achieving any of these worthwhile goals.
Nugget of Wisdom # 133
Why delight in finding faults in others, as though you have no faults of your own? Bear with others’ faults, as you would have them bear with yours. Look, instead, for what is good and strong. Doing so shows your love for them, as well as yourself. Also, you learn to be patient, tolerant, and empathetic. And don’t you think people who have faults are a lot more interesting that those who are perfect?
Nugget of Wisdom # 134
Make exercise a daily routine, as eating and sleeping are. Its health benefits apply only to your body, but also your mind and spirit. Unless you are ill or paralyzed, you really have no valid reason for not exercising. Make exercise your day’s priority. To get it out of the way during the rest of the day, consider doing it first thing in the morning. No time for exercise? Then, have time for sickness.
Nugget of Wisdom # 135
Worry and anxiety are indications that you are not in control of your mind. This misuse of the imagination is not only useless but harmful. I used to be a worrier, but none of the things I worried about ever came true. Had I saved myself the trouble, I could have been a lot happier. Why waste your life to useless worrying? If you live this day to the best that you can, today will take care of tomorrow.
